Born in Connecticut, Doug has dedicated his entire career to the construction industry, beginning as a laborer and carpenter’s assistant in his teenage years. In the 19XXs, he founded CS Margison Builders and Construction Managers, a company that has since handled an impressive array of projects—from commercial developments and public infrastructure to churches, hospitals, civic and cultural buildings, and private residences across the United States.

After earning a degree in Building Construction Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 1985, Doug took over his family’s business in 1992. Under his leadership, the company expanded, focusing on high-end commercial construction. His residential portfolio includes multimillion-dollar homes throughout Connecticut, Block Island in Rhode Island, and San Jose del Cabo in Baja California Sur, Mexico.

Doug's success stems from a commitment to delivering the highest quality of construction management through meticulous planning and attention to detail. Rather than prioritizing rapid growth, he has focused on providing clients with exceptional craftsmanship and reliability. Doug plays an active role in every project, making frequent site visits to ensure every detail is carefully managed within the client’s budget and timeline. His reputation for excellence is reflected in his high volume of repeat clients and frequent recommendations from the design community.

Born in Michoacán, Mexico, and graduated in 1998 from the UNAM School of Architecture. He began his career leading design teams at an architectural studio, working on various projects, from private commercial buildings and gas stations to churches and, primarily, residential homes across mainland Mexico. In 2001, Alex and his wife moved to San Jose del Cabo, B.C.S., Mexico, where he joined one of the region's top construction firms, contributing to the design of residential homes in exclusive areas such as Villas Del Mar and Esperanza Hotel in Punta Ballena, Cabo San Lucas.

By 2002, Alex became a senior project manager with another leading company in the Los Cabos area, a position he held for over a decade. In this role, he oversaw the construction of luxury residences in prestigious developments from Puerto Los Cabos in San Jose del Cabo to Pedregal in Cabo San Lucas. His team received second place in a state design competition in Baja California Sur for a home in the Bay of Dreams. Known for his collaborative approach, Alex worked closely with clients from project inception to completion, ensuring integrated, sustainable design solutions with a personal touch. During this time, he led the design and construction of over 50 homes.

In 2012, Alex launched his firm, bringing his extensive experience in design and project management. From the outset, he pioneered a sustainable approach to design, creating inspirational environments that range from master plans to custom furniture and emphasizing close collaboration with clients.
